12 of 12

 So I'm doing my 128th 12 of 12.

Normally it is 12 pictures taken on the 12th of the month. Since I only post once per day, you get my images the following day. All pictures taken with my iPhone. Click images to enlarge, if you choose.

Created by Chad Darnell and picked up from, what I can tell, any number of random bloggers who then link back to him and vice versa. Chad is no longer doing this, nor is successor coordinating the linking of other 12 of 12'ers anymore. Now it's just myself - of which I know.

05:05.  Finishing the early a.m. walk.

No excitement. One poop.

06:15.  Bran avec raisins.

07:05.  Kitty Kat Klose-Up.

Sophie and her whiskers and she does a.m. snuggles with me!

07:39.  Tea time.

After chillier dog walk #2 - which did not result in a #2.

08:39.  Genius.

It took me far too long. I was 'amazing' by 05:20, but I had to get 'tutor' and and 'turbo' to push me over the edge. The big words came with little problem.

10:35.  Ordering.

Placing a gift order. The shipping is almost as much as the gift itself. ...if I want it on time.

11:13.  Short grocery run.

Sophie needed wet fud, because she hasn't been eating the dry the last few days. We're watching her.

12:08.  Tree Trim.

I made this ornament in 2nd (?) grade?  Don't tell me it's nature and not nurture*. Wouldn't a gay boy inherently know how to make an ornament ?

14:25. Hike.

Starting of a 3+ mile hike with Shep and 710 in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It didn't stay sunny for entire hike. We got rained on. We did not melt.

15:32.  12-12 on 12/12 for 12 of 12

Apparently - if you buy a dozen doughnuts at Krispy Kreme on December 12, you get another dozen glazed for $1.  I guess we'll see if one can freeze doughnuts.

16:56.  Bookstore.

OMG. I actually went into a store. Masked. Slathered in sanitizer, but still - I went.
Loganberry Books is a local, independent bookseller.  I'm so glad it's survived.

20:07.  HBO Doc.

Yes. we watched a documentary on the Bee Gees.

* I totally believe in nature or nature and nurture. Just because I grew up in a house with four sisters, no brothers and a mother who repeatedly exposed me to 1940s-1960s musicals and that I went to an all male high school is purely circumstantial.

I love this post, all the parts, I was wondering what year I last had a live tree and those lights! Glad you went in the bookstore! So much interesting. I wish I exercised as much as you all . Christmas Ornament great, why we are all gay, I knew in the fourth grade after a basketball
game we were showering. A platoon of National Guard came in and showered with us. I got wood so hard it would have been a diamond cutter! I think it’s genetic, but there is a feminine presence in a lot of scenarios! IMHO!

We have a local book store here, and mindful of the struggles of small businesses, I called them and left the message that I'd like to buy Tolkien's 'The Father Christmas Letters". I asked if they'd call back to let me know whether they had it, and to provide a price if they did. I got no call back.

Very nice little glimpses of your life in these strange days. Merry Christmas!

I love The Bee Gees. But probably won't watch the documentary. Hoping Soph is alright. I love word games... can't eat donuts. They make me cray cray. Have a lovely.
