So, we're in NYC and we decide to take in a play. Not TONS to see, so we opt for Steven Sondeim's 'The Assassins'. As critic Eileen Flowers would say, 'AWFUL!' Doogie Howser was the best thing in it. DOOGIE HOSWER!!! Honest, he was.

The absolute highlight was being behind Jeff Goldblum in the line to the restroom after the show. Big bug-eye glasses he had on. The guy behing me laughed and said - 'he's got 'The Fly' thing going on!'. I replied, 'I'm not sure he can help it.'

Let's hope 'Wonder Town' is better on Friday. It almost HAS to be.
