Minneapolis

It was about a year ago that I first ran into CB at O'Hare airport, Gate B10.

...well, actually, it was the only time I ran into him there....or anywhere.

He was on his way to Cedar Point, which he makes an annual pilgrimage from the Twin Cities. He never invites me, but at least he tells me when he'd flying into Cleveland.

So this last Friday, I took a few minutes out of my day to meet him for a few minutes after he got wheels down.

There wasn't a lot of time to catch up.  He had to beat the potential bad weather we were experiencing in northern Ohio, so he could have a few hours riding some of the coasters.  I hope he did, as the weather map looked pretty frickin' bad up there - and then it POURED the 90 miles east of there in Cleveland on Saturday morning.

Actually, I know he got to ride sometime on Saturday, as he posted on Facebook that the Gemini was possibly the best coaster ever.

That is so wrong on so many levels.

It's an ok coaster, for sure, but hardly the best ever, let alone the best at Cedar Point.  I love love love the Millennium so much better than Gemini. Since I haven't been on the Gatekeeper (yet), I can't say where that falls into the mix.  Heck, I even like the Top Thrill Draster better than Gemini. Possibly even the Blue Streak too.

Maybe next year I'll get an invite and we can debate the pros and cons of the coasters real-time - though he'll never get me on the Mean Streak, which I had an issue with last year.

...and what a good snap of him. As usual, I'm not thrilled with me, but I think this time, you might even agree with my assessment.

Dude. I said the DAY was the best ever- not the Gemini. The Gemini is fun-- much like several other coasters.

Millennium is the best-- followed by Maverick, then maybe Gatekeeper. Or dragster.

I should TOTEs invite you! I just didn't think you would do it, being married and all.

Started going to Cedar Point when I was in college in Michigan but haven't been in a long time. I liked the Gemini because I love wooden coasters but gravity rides are never going to have the same thrill factor as propelled coasters.

It is always fun to meet other bloggers in person whom you've read.

I'm surprised all of space and time didn't implode when you two crossed paths.
