Silver Wings

It is not that I have nothing to write about - which I probably don't - but it's been a tough day.

Mostly travel yesterday. Hanging at the John Wayne Gacy Airport and then sitting on the tarmac for an hour because SFO had crosswinds and planes couldn't land.  I've lived this before, usually they can take off, so I wasn't hopeful for my connecting flight.

It didn't help when we circled for 45 minutes over the Bay area not being able to land.  Boo. I made my connecting flight by seven minutes and only because the incoming flight was delayed.  Phew.  There ain't many flights into Boise.  ...which is where I am.

And it's cold here. 91 here less than a week ago. It is in the 40s now.  Boy howdy. But it was a cool sunset.

I am done with work today mid afternoon, but I can't get home. No flights all the way to Cleveland.  So I leave first thing Friday morning.  One more night in Idaho.  I can handle it.  Vegas next week!!!!

Ok, enough rambling.  I'm done.  It appears I do have nothing to day.

Oh, and I missed my parent's 55th wedding anniversary. I guess I'll call them tomorrow.

Travelling can be a realy b*tch. There's no two ways about it. Glad you are now at your destination. The photograph is really beautiful.
