My Music Monday

Again, no theme for May.  I thought about songs to which one can run - bu that 'one' is actually just me. I assume your results may differ. As they should.  Maybe for June? 

I'd say today's selection is "new" music and it is - to me!  But "My Silver Lining" by First Aid Kit is seemingly from 2014. I heard it last week for the first time, hence the 'new to me' indicator. 

The song is reminiscent of another tune, and it's killing me I cannot put my finger on it. Figuratively. Not literally. 

710 thinks - and he might be correct - that is like Mark Ronson's song (sung by my Miley Cyrus), "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart", thought that song stole more from Dolly Parton's "Jolene". 

First Aid Kit sounds similar due more to phrasing and harmonies, though their song came years before the Ronson / Cyrus collaboration. 

Still, it's interesting and it doesn't sound like anything else..........well, except Miley Cyrus.
