Yes, today is Star Wars Day.  Fun!!!!

And really, how cool is this iPhone case?  Steve Jobs trapped in carbonite!!!   For $35 I had to have it. 

Alas, it was not meant to be. 

Almost as soon as it was released, Apple issued a cease & desist order.  The only surprise to me was that it wasn't LucasFilms that issued it first.

If the guys who made it didn't put 'Steve Jobs' in the title, there could be no Apple law suit.  You can't truly prove it was Steve.  You'd at least have to do a liver biopsy.

Naturally, I went to eBay to see what they were going for.  A few days ago the bid for the only one listed was $250.  I was not about to pay that much.  There were six days left on the auction.

Two days later, it was back down to $51.  Clearly someone pulled back their mega-offer.   I still don't know I'd pay $50 for it.  I'm only half convinced it really exists.....and then I'd be out fifty-one smackers and nothing to show for it.

I'll keep my eye on it.  I just might do it. Totally frivolous and maybe the joke would go over everyone's head.  Still it might be worth it.
