Comfort

Pets are a great distraction to the world.

710 "let" Shep play hooky from daycare TWICE this week. In actuality, he needed Shep near him more than Shep wanted to stay home. I get it. While Shep will never be well behaved enough to be A therapy dog - he's our therapy dog.

the epitome of comfort.

Penned in.........and loving it.

Shep's Halloween photo up at Lake Erie.
Those back legs and the way he has to sit kills me.

I could watch Sophie sleep all day long.

November 6th.  68 degrees.  17:00.

Lovely pics. So glad you got out in this great weather. Cold front coming in Sunday :( Adore your menagerie. Have a lovely weekend. Life is good.

I find it almost hypnotic to watch any of my cats sleep, and if watched long enough I'd be joining them in slumber. Probably the same effect with a dog if there was one here, though with added 'entertainment' value, either asleep or, most definitely, awake.

Yes they are therapeutic no doubt
My dog is not too 'therapeutic' she does not cuddle much anymore, a sadness to me.
