Planets of the Universe

I'm lax in getting this post up.

In the last few weeks, there has been an alignment of Jupiter, Saturn and Mars.

You can see them all if you embiggen the image.

The three have been rising around 0300 (EDT), and if the sky is clear and not tons of light - either artificial or that stupid moon(!) - you can see them up until about right before dawn.

This image is from a few weeks back, but as of yesterday, the three are still in the sky. But yesterday, Mars was barely visible, though might be due to the fact that the moon was bright and 'behind' the planets.  When I took this image, the moon wasn't anywhere on the horizon.

Mind you - seeing this will no doubt be based on where you're located as well. And you have to get up early, so JP is NEVER going to see this. But it's totally worth it.

....and just for the nonsense of this blog.

......and it isn't, if one just drops their drawers.

"hey beavis, watch out for the klingons near uranus!" heh heh heh.

thanks for the pix; I would not be able to see that here due to all the philly city lights on my horizon.
