My Music Monday

I don't know from AWOLNATION, I just heard a song of theirs a week or three ago. It caught my attention, clearly, or it wouldn't be here.

"The Best", regardless of its title, is not going down in the annals of music history as one of THE best. It's fine.  ....and it's very much a culmination of 'alternative' music in the last 3-5 years.

The band even throws in Alice Merton on the song. She had an alt 'hit' with 'No Roots", that was interesting the first three plays, which just turned out to be annoying af anytime after that.

She is on here, but barely. At least in the mix. No offense to Ms. Merton, but she isn't horribly needed on this song.  "The Best" is somewhat catchy, but I wouldn't say 'singable'.
