Feels Like Home

Cruddy work week - but it's always great to come home to the pets.  Shep is always so frickin' excited to see us. It's a nice feeling.

The door damage was from the previous house owner's dog. Not Shep, never Shep.
Ok.....maybe a little bit Shep.

Shep waiting for his doggie friends.
The dog walker comes by at noon-ish with 3-4 canine buds.

The man is not discerning when it comes to his drink.

Much like his father.

Shep can sleep anywhere. He's like a cat that way.

710's sweatshirt? Window seat over the radiator?  Done and done!

I just know they'll be best pals..............eventually.

Lovely pics. The handsome Shep only feels complete when his master is present, and hopelessly lost when he's not. Why don't ALL dog-owners realise that? It pains me and annoys me like mad when they can't grasp that simple fact. Or, if they do, they don't care.
On the other hand, I dare say that Sophie doesn't give a hoot where her master is (if she recognises him as being that at all) as long as she gets her meals and has somewhere comfortable and warm to sleep.
