I have plenty, but really, how often am I going to need to use my Translator app, or the one for Songify? (I've only used the latter once!)
Don't even start me on the Marley Matlin app.
And while I don't use them often, I do click on Shazam or SoundHound when I'm trying to identify a song of which I am unfamiliar.
Honestly, Shazam started off strong, but more often than not, I get errors that it cannot detect the song of which I'm requesting identification. My go-to for this is now SoundHound.
Take the other week when we were watching
But at the end of episode two (or was it three? - it was three) they had a song playing and it caught my attention. I Hounded it. I'm not sure if that's a verb or not, but I'm using it as such.
Anyhooo - the song, "Black Belt" by John Grant is sparse, and heavy on the drum machines, but I don't know I'd call it "electronic" music. Though what the fuck do I know from "electronica" v EDM. It's music.
I wouldn't dance to it anyways - but I would stand in a gay bar (if this song were around 20 years ago when I still went to gay bars), my back to the wall, my right foot up against said wall, looking unapproachable, while I drank a beer and people watched. That foot against the wall would probably tap too. ...and I'd probably drink another beer. And another.
There doesn't seem to be any "official" video to this song, but lots of live versions, dance remix versions, etc on YouTube. I just found the simplest one. I didn't purchase the song. I like it, but I'm not sure I $1.29 like it.

I have his most recent album - based on Joe.My.God.'s recommendation. It's an interesting listen - especially the lyrics. I've listened twice but still not sure how I feel about it.
