I got nothing, and that's ok. There are times when these things happen - it cannot be helped.
There's only so much one can talk about "legitimate rape", the Empire State Bldg, the RNC convention, Lance Armstrong. Prince Harry's royal scepter or hurricane Issac.
Unfortunately, there was much bigger news that almost went unnoticed: the voice of the Count has died.
Since I had a younger sister, I had exposure to Sesame Street, since I might have been a little bit before its time.
Personally, I"m a Grover man, but oh how my mother loved the Count. I'll assume she was attracted to his Transylvanian accent. Or maybe his ability to count to 10.
I'm not sure who is going to break the news to her. Doubtful this is a story the Cleveland paper will pick up. Oh - maybe they will.
As sad as the news is, it still beats having to hear about Mitt doing or saying anything at all.
Hopefully tomorrow's entry will be better......but it's one of those weekends we might just be skating by.
