the Storm

I had half an idea to write about Jupiter and its big - yet shrinking - red dot.

My idea was thwarted by an article that wasn't nearly as exciting for which I was hoping.

It's good and all, but........

It might tie into the fact that I am dead tired. So, the article might be more interesting if I were more than quasi-awake.

Still, Jupiter is out and making the rounds these days...........well......nights.

In the pic, it's that thing next to the moon. Quite an impressive display.

I'm less than thrilled with my new iPhone13 camera. It was a beautiful crescent moon and all it shows is a big bright blob. I have yet to rule out user error, but we'll see.

Ok. Off to bed. It's 21:02.

I have never had luck photographing the moon with any iPhone I've owned. It's tricky enough with a DSLR and tripod.

This week the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus are in a lovely arch.
