Take Off

Killer week. I mean, not literally. I didn't kill anyone..........yet.  And no one is killing me........yet.

The pets kill me.......with love. And on a daily basis.

Shep's first snapping turtle encounter.  Turtle 1, Shep 0.

Sophie after treat time.
Rae is waiting for me most mornings. I think she just expects breakfast or dinner. I'm happy to oblige.
Bailey got groomed and had a spa day.
Closer, please!

In a stiff breeze, this dog could take flight.

I'm wondering if the lovely lady Rae is being neglected [or worse? Shudder!] at her own home as she's so keen on yours - or perhaps it's just those on-demand freebie meals that's the attraction. I hope that's the case.
Three of my own current four felines have all come from I-know-not-where homes and moved in here - without asking permission - so it's clear that they all PREFER to have me as their run-around skivvy for them. [The exception was Patchie who was the subject of his original home leafletting the neighbourhood on his whereabouts, and after my notifying his previous owners he was here, all was amicably settled to allow him to stay].

Love Shep's reaction to the turtle - a real life 'alien'!

Snapping Turtles always win, unless you have the strength to make turtle soup. What I have eaten in New Orleans , has as much sherry as turtle in it. Its kick is the same as grappa.
