12 of 12

So I'm doing my 34th 12 of 12

Normally it is 12 pictures taken on the 12
th of the month. Since I only post once per day, you get my images the following day. All pictures taken with my iPhone. Click images to enlarge, if you choose.

Created by Chad Darnell and picked up from, what I can tell, a number of random bloggers who then link back to him and vice versa. Chad stopped doing the 12 of 12 links in December of 2011, but I will continue, as I like doing it.  I just can't link with the others who participated monthly.  Bummer.

It was also mentioned that since Chad quit this a year ago, this should be my last reference to him, and I suppose that's valid.  Thanks Chad, for getting me onto this over the last three years.  g-d speed.

This a work-trip 12 of 12 - so no kitty or doggie pictures.  I don't know if work posts like this are more or less exciting. Maybe it's not supposed to be exciting, just a day in the life of......    And that's what it is....but on Pacific Time.

04:15. Courtyard pool - still lit up. I have no idea if it's heated, but I never pack for such things. Yes, it's early, but my body is on Eastern time.

07:20. Passed by the Tustin Airship Hangars. You know, blimps. No longer there (I don't think). But there are two hangars. They are similar to the ones in Akron for the Goodyear airships.

07:40. Arriving at the client site.

11:30. Heading out to lunch - leaving worksite. I rarely go out for lunch but their cafe has made me sick three times. I've learned my lesson. But there's a train track into the client site.

12:10. Walking through a little park at the plant site, before heading to an off-site meeting. Nice area - no one but me was out there. They're not a healthy bunch of folks who will take a walk just to take a walk.

14:20. Heading back in from lunch and an off-site meeting. Isn't this a seriously daunting gate / turnstile?

17:25.  Leaving the plant - to head to the airport.  FINALLY.

17:45.  The 405. It looks bad, doesn't it?  This is actually a good day. The 405 sucks.

18:05.  I checked my luggage.  Yes, it fits in the overhead, but it's a full full flight, and I'd rather have my computer bag atop, so I have what little leg room I can for well....my legs. I'm Gold, so it costs me nothing to check a bag and I don't have to drag it though SNA and SFO.

18:45. The John Wayne International Airport taken from the departing gates. But from there, I can look down to see the baggage claim area. Oooooh.  Purdy.

19:05.  Pinkberry....because I'm worth it.  Though it's my 4th or 5th Pinkberry attempt and I'm always somewhat disappointed. This mango with chocolate crisps was ok though. And it sure beats my shitty dinner.

19:30. Kind of snickering at all the folks charging their Apple items before boarding the plane. Trust me, mine was too, it was just out of the shot.

No Baker's Dozen this month.  Sorry.  What fun is that without an animal picture?

19:05 - never had a pinkberry; does not exist here.

14:20 - looks like a philly/NYC subway exit.

7:20 - interesting!

You were right where I grew up. I don't miss it though. It's fun to visit, which we are, next week.
