Site of the Month

It came to my attention that I neglected to do a SotM in October.  Clearly, I didn't even need "filler" for last month, as there were 31 days and I didn't get my placeholder posts done in that time frame.

That is not to say I will do two this month to make up for it.   That's is not to say I won't - as sometimes the inspiration to create a truly original post is not there.  Time will tell.

Overall, this SotM, Cake Wrecks, is not disturbing.  They profess to be professional cakes that go horribly wrong.  ...and hilariously wrong, but that last part is subjective.

Still, there is at least one cake that is disturbing as hell and one you won't see on Ace of Cakes:

Yes!!!!  It. is. a. cake.

FUCKED UP!!!!  This is totally FUCKED UP!!!   ....and yet I cannot look away.

You must go see the other photos from this little debacle they call "cake".  Ok, Ok, I'll do one more, because I do love the cross-section of brain.

I have to say, I didn't get into all 666 pages of cakes (at least as of last night), because the above one stopped me dead (get it??) in my tracks.

...and yet, so worth it.

Sorry,  this one was bound to offend someone, but after 2300+ posts,  you must have known is always an x% of my posts that will rub some the wrong way.

I've been a Cake Wrecks fan for a long time. There are some cakes on that site FAR more disturbing than that one, just so you know.

Disturbing enough just to know that there is someone out there without the judgement to say "No, I don't think that this is a good idea."

Well that took care of the breakfast I was eating. A WARNING was really called for but can you imagine the mind of the person who thought that up? Not sure I'd like to meet him/her close up.
