My Music Monday

While eating lunch at a Cosi (which is not the same as COSI), while in DC, they had a very eclectic playlist going - for the four customers (including us) on a Saturday afternoon.

Maybe it was the timing, or my mood, or both, but I was just digging "a Night Like This" by Caro Emerald.

Since she is Dutch, I'll assume Brett (the other one) know of her. This was my first exposure. And my only.

If Wikipedia is to be believed - and the internet is never wrong - "Night" dates back to 2009. Still, it was all new to me.

The song is Brazilian in nature, but not quite Bossa Nova - though it has those qualities.

I don't have a lot of background info on the song and honestly, I don't even own it. I just heard it and liked it.
