What we might have this week, is a semi-lack of Shep activity......which is unfortunate, as yesterday he turned 9!!!
Nine. How did that happen?
We didn't get him until he was 13 months old, so we haven't had him for nine, but I loathe the passing of time with him. He's still cute and fun. Perhaps a little slower than he used to be, but who isn't?
Anyway.......here we go.
Birthday Boy.
I take him to a park that only he and I have been. 710 has never been invited.
The problem with having so many windows in the house is that Simon likes all of them.
He was there watching squirrels on the fence. We just have to wipe everything down all the time when it comes to kitchen counters.
This is Nala - a service dog.
I was sitting in Starbucks and she would kind of come near. Finally the manager told me that Nala likes to sleep behind the chair in which I was sitting. I gladly moved to make her feel more secure. She went right to her rightful place the second I changed seats.
Bailey's 5th gotcha day.
....and clearly she has something to say. As always.
Georgia.
I do love catching sight of her. Not a great pic, but I'll take anything from her.
Shep's happy place. He just loves the backyard.
He feels so safe and secure there.
Pippa.
I am checking in on my niece's cat, who is under the weather. I had to feed her and her sister, Willow (whom I've actually never seen). I put out plates of food for both, Pippa ate both.
I guess she's feeling better.
Weirdo Cat 1
Weirdo Cat 2
Duo.
Eight deep playing in Rocky River, as I was getting ready for a Sunday morning run.

Happy birthday Shep!
Thanks we needed these.
After all isn't that what windows are for?
