What Goes Around

I feel the slightest bit hypocritical (just a wee wee bit) defending Tim Walz' neurodivergent son. 

The kid is expressing his honest emotion the best way he knows how. There is nothing wrong with that. 

The family has been open about their son's challenges and it's a great thing to bring these to the forefront, if nothing else, for education purposes if not to help advance treatments. 

The term “neurodivergent” describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don’t have those differences. The possible differences include medical disorders, learning disabilities and other conditions. 

Neurodivergent isn’t a medical term. Instead, it’s a way to describe people using words other than “normal” and “abnormal.” That’s important because there’s no single definition of “normal” for how the human brain works.

I mean, this kind of lumps in BLOTUS Jr and his brother Eric, no? 

.....and let's not forget their neurodivergent father. 

I guess my hesitancy to Walz' support is that we are all more than happy to make fun of a clearly cognitively declining senior.  I know I am. 

Granted, VonShitzhisPanz has made it easy - and seemingly deserved. But in other ways neither Walz' kid or this presidential candidate have complete control over their neuron-firing abilities. 

Bullying is bullying. 

I think the difference with BLOTUS is he wasn't like this (or this impaired) when he started this journey in 2015. He's been vicious and evil and surrounded himself with the same.  

And while other than say, Kyle Rittenhouse when he was a murderous kid, I'm not sure I'd make fun of a child. Children (BLOTUS', for example) yes, but not a child. 

Don't get me wrong, I will continue to make fun of BLOTUS.  Gus isn't looking to run the country. 

BLOTUS is looking to run the country...............into the ground. At least those with whom he surrounds himself. He was still part of the destruction his first term - and dementia or not, he still seems hot on doing it for a second. Though there will be no 'second' term, just being 'ruled'.  No more elections, as he puts it. 

Ramblings of a demented man? Maybe? Are you willing to find out? 

The GOP loves a weak target, and they'll do it to kids. And while it's not fine, now it's fair play. Find a GOPer with an autistic child or grandchild and go fucking hog-wild.  

Again, they had zero problem laughing at a disabled journalist being mocked by BLOTUS in an full arena in 2016. They mocked a dead gold star soldier too.  Certainly an challenged child isn't off limits to them. 

I am just stumped that people are calling Ann Coulter a 'cunt' over her making fun of Gus. It's like no one has ever heard of Ann Coulter before. Stop pretending to be shocked by her - it's exactly what she wants. So do her book editors. 

I'm just not sure how appalled we can be when we are not saints in this area. I know I'm not.
