I don't have anything of note. 

A lot of election shit in other countries going down, but I can't tell you what it means. That would require me to read a newspaper or something - and for content. 

Brazil. Serbia. Israel.  Am I missing anyone else?  It's possible. 

They're all seemingly taking pages out of the BLOTUS handbook and crying election fraud. Mind you, the guy from Brazil fled the country, so it's not like he stayed to fight the perceived injustice. 

I know nothing about him or the sitch, so not sure why he had to leave the country. Naturally, he got refuge here, even though aren't we turning away south of the border refugees? 

And I get elections other places are different than the U.S.. but I knew nothing of Israel calling for one. I do like they can call for one and not have to wait years for it to happen. The UK is similar with the PM. Maybe the majority of countries are that way. 

I hope they're all positive moves and if so, carries on here on November 3rd. 

My head is in the sand. I'm hopeful, but honestly, I'm more afraid than anything I think if Dems don't take some strides this cycle, the country is over. 

....and this is why I moved my shrink appointment to after the election.

I Didn't Mind

Ok, I'm hoping this works. 

I've never embedded a video from Insta before. I didn't even know it was possible. 

It's not My Music Monday, but it is something I stumbled over on Instagram only because someone I know "liked" it, so I think it got pushed my way. Honestly, I don't know how the algorithm works, but let's just assume that's one of the ways. 

The lyrics are flawless. The musicality and performance are minimal and everything that would have been done in the early 80s by bands on the fringe.  I mean, minus the tiara. Probably. 

2Krispii (what they go by) hits the mark on how MAGA and / or RINOs are possibly feeling about the state of their political party.  

No offense to 2Krispii, but a lot of those things of which they sing directly effect the gas prices, but to their credit, the basis MAGAt never puts 2 + 2 together.

Red and Blue

Yesterday we went to a new park to hike with the dog. 

I can kind of hike. Slower than usual, but I can now do it. 

Like many times, we had to go out of the county to get to it and it wasn't really accessible through anything but country roads and such. It took us through different communities, but we knew it was going to end up in what is GOP territory. 

As we live in a very liberal area - and we don't get out much - I can honestly say until yesterday, I had never seen a yard sign for Vivek Ramaswamy. 

Sorry - Vivek Ramaswamy. 

Oh yes, none of the signs had his last name.  None. 

It was on purpose two-fold. 

A. It's a lot more real estate and ink to as that many more letters. Cost shouldn't be prohibitive though as Musk has given at last $5,000.000 to Ramaswamy's campaign. As have like every owner of Cleveland major league sports teams. 

B. Putting the last name kind of reminds racist Ohio voters that Ramaswamy isn't a WASP.  ....and that they'd be voting for someone who wasn't christian or white. 

I'm going with B as the reason his last name - Ramaswamy (see, I'm just putting it out here to keep letting people know he, or someone he knows, probably had something to do with 9/11) *.

On the plus side of this trip:  remember, we are in GOP country. But half the signs were for Ramaswamy. The other half for Acton - the democrat for governor and Sherrod Brown for senate. 

BTW, never saw one Hustead sign. 

Oh - and the Brown or Acton signs were HUGE. 

To see blue in this area was - dare I say - hopeful. 

I'm not chicken counting though. 

*I know it's not true but these are the same voters who are xenophobic and say shit like that all the time. Now they're voting for a guy they probably would spit on and tell him to go back to his country any other time.

Nasty

I'm a few days late to this - though 710 told me about it a day or so ago. 

We have a gubernatorial race going on here in Ohio and it's gotten ugly. Well........uglier. 

Amy Acton was the director of the Ohio Department of Health. During Covid she was the voice of reason and taking a lot of shit from people who didn't think it real or serious. 

Six+ years later it still lingers in her campaign opposition. PACs are reminding everyone that "she" shut down the state during Covid. Since it's a PAC, you can't really fire back at an untruth. Acton had no power to shut anything down, but the REPUBLICAN Governor did...........and it was he who shut things down. 

The PAC will never say that. Unfortunately, neither will Acton. 

I'm going on record that I voted for her, because what was the alternative? Another fucking GOP governor here?  

She is a doctor and not a politician. And while she might be very nice and educated, I find it depressing that the Ohio Democrats had NOBODY else lined up to run. Much like the national democrats, there seems to be no succession plan for anything. It's why we lose so g-ddamn often. 

Acton's opponent is Vivek Ramaswamy. Some rich douche. And an asshole to boot. 

He ran his own ad that had a couple in it - though it was pointed out that the male Vernon Edwards, is a registered sex offender and sexual predator in Ohio.  Ooops. 

Brought up in a rally / town hall, Ramaswamy told the person to - and I'm using upper case because his voice did - "GET OUT!!!!". 

So, how to take the heat off that? 

Oh - now he's running an ad with Acton's estranged mother who was aware that her second husband raped Acton as a child.  The mother, who looks like they dug her up after four days in the crypt, denounces her daughter and says she is lying. The old broad stayed with the rapist. Acton ended up leaving the home and being raised by her father. 

Nationally, Ramaswamy is being vilified for running the ad. It's his a CNN panel and the View. It's made the national papers as well. 

No worries, Ramaswamy has doubled down and Vance and BLOTUS have given the green light to the ad with a thumb's up. 

There are two things Acton needs to do, which I don't think she or the dems are willing. 

1. A one time response saying, of course the GOP is fine with this ad, as their history has been to back, and cover up for, child rapists.  

Honestly - just put it out there. Put them on the defense for rape. The "president" on down. You don't have to say his name, the implication is there. 

2. Go Low. Get Dirty. "Ramaswamy".  Start questioning his national loyalties, his race, his religion. All of it. 

It's doesn't have to be true. You don't even have to say "you" (read: she) believes is, but start questioning and implying. 

I'll be honest, I know people anymore only vote along straight party lines, but this is Ohio. I am a little surprised that there is backing for a candidate of color and a Hindu.  GOP backeres here are whiter than white. Where is their outrage like it was for Obama? 

Oh that's right: BLOTUS.

the Abyss

I'd say that Autumn is my favourite time of year, but then you think - ugh - election season. 

We've literally had to stop watching Jeopardy as it airs. Instead it's on the dvr and we watch it later and pass over the commercials..Instead of Rexulti ads, it's now campaign bashing ads - mostly PACs who can do and / or say whatever the fuck they want. It doesn't have to be "approved" by any candidate.  

Who am I kidding, the ads here have been running since the May primaries. It has been non-stop. 

I suggest you watch Family Guy. 

Maybe not for the cartooning skills or banter. I found a show where no politician will spend one single solitary dime to advertise for their shitty aspirations. 

I've lamented on this before, but anymore, almost every election seems to be the most important one. November 2026 is no different. The others were to stop us from abyss. Now it's hoping to claw are way closer to the top of it. 

Make no mistake, we are in the abyss. 

This is probably a good time to mention that my next therapy session - mental, not physical - was supposed to be next week. I had to reign in the doc and go......no no no no no no. 

I don't need a shrink before the election - we're past that. So we rescheduled to a day or two after the upcoming one. 

Mind you, should there be a blue wave, I'm not expecting relief. I'm expecting push back and tons of discussion on massive election fraud. Lots of court battles. 

I trust no one with this. And BLOTUS has effectively used the courts to his advantage. 

And since I trust no one - politically speaking anyways - we do "mail in" ballots. Except we don't mail. We physically go down to the Board of Elections and drop them off in a drop-box. And we do it on a Sunday. 

Other days, election workers are there supposedly to "assist" you and they will take it from your driver's window to drop it in. 

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. 

That is never going to happen with me. So we went on Sunday when they were at church or wherever those allegedly christian people go on Sunday. 

So my ballot is done. It's in. 

Now, let's just hope it is counted.

a Gallon of Gas

Granted, I have not been driving much, and even when we went on our mini road trip two weeks back, 710 did most of the driving, but did all of the petrol filling. 

While I knew gas prices were getting up there, I honestly had no idea until the other day when I had to put fuel in the tank. 

$6.29.   .....for 89 grade.  I don't even put 91 (or is it 93?) in my tank. I wish I had looked over to see what the higher grade was going for.   

I should clarify:  $6.29 in Ohio. Not California or Hawai'i - which are usually the states with the highest prices at the pumps. 

From the gas station I headed to the grocery store. I take the small carts because, it's two of us only and we don't need that much. 

$194. It used to be about $110-120 a few months back. Granted, some of it was caonola and olive oils that will last us months on end, but other than that, the rest of the stuff will be gone in a week. If they were sugar related, they'll go faster.

$8-9 salmon is now $12.....and climbing. As is everything else. 

Since the average voter is stupid as fuck, they don't see a direct corralatioin between the two. There is. 

They worry about their gas prices only. They don't take into account the freight guys who carry the food from point A to B. Diesel is even higher and well, someone has to pay fuel increase to get their Pork Rinds Light™ to the dinner table. That would be the food supplier(s).

One reason - but not the only - is why your food prices are higher. And that is partially - if not fully - the price of doing war in the middle east. "His" actions effectively block the world's oil supply and well.......poof....maybe this is considered trickle up economics. 

How this doesn't impact the mid-terms is beyond me. But I'm skeptical at best. Again - the average voter is stupid as fuck and look at the 12,083 things MAGA has ignored for some false idol. 

Oh yes - I purchased 100 of those stickers in the above image for $8. Some of the best $8 I've ever spent. I pass them out to family and friends to use, and I adhere them each and every time I get gas.  ....and will continue to do so. 

In theory, I could use them at the grocery store, but I think grocery stores have more cameras.

Distracted

Fucking Eric Schmitt. 

I'd say he's a tool - and I'd be right, but not the way you'd think. 

Oh - EVERYONE was in stitches about his "foible" with Jack Smith's hearing and Schmitt's "mix up" of the Atlanta Hawks and the Iowa Hawkeyes. 

What kills me is that everything thinks it was a stupid mistake and he didn't do his homework.  ....except he did. 

Yes, I don't even think this next thing is a conspiracy theory. 

Schmidt did what the GOP does best:  distract. 

He is / was a tool for the GOP. 

It never once occurred to me that Schmitt's questioning of Smith and throwing around terms like 'dirtbag' and 'perjury' were not 100% planned and staged - including the "mistakes". Or especially the "mistakes". .....especially if Smith actually testified and didn't opt to Plead the Fifth like Fauchi did a few months back (though that was totally justified). 

If I were a betting man, I'd say the GOP hoped Smith would Plead the Fifth and that would be the story they told. When that didn't happen, they went with Plan B. 

My guess is that Schmitt's instructions were to cause a sideshow - and he did. Perfectly.

All the news organizations, the internet, all of social media talked about the "accidental" misdirect and not about the hours of testimony where Smith didn't waver and answered each and every question - none of them flattering to anyone still tied to January 6th. 

Schmitt did his job. 

Oh, it's a shit job, but he pulled it off flawlessly. The foam core board with a so-called text on it that was shown for 1.8 seconds leaving everyone to wonder what it really said. It turns out it didn't matter. Schmitt went right into the accusation portion of the show. He even questioned Amy Klobuchar's follow-up questions. 

He played it perfectly. 

Someone had to be the stooge in this hearing and Schmitt either pulled the short straw or stepped up to the plate with gusto. I'm going with the latter. 

.....but no one is talking about Smith's testimony, I can tell you that. 

And this is why the GOP wins so often. They distract perfectly and it works in their favour almost every single time.

My lord, I couldn't be happier than a pig in mud. 

While clearly that is a wild exaggeration, still there is some internal satisfaction that all major new organization's tv pools have - at least for the time being - refused to cover the White House. 

I really hope it is more than for just one day because then.......why bother? 

For historical purposes - when this blog is combed over by archivists - BLOTUS banned CNN and a few other new organizations from the White House and the press corps. He all but violated the first amendment - you know, that thing in the Constitution which he held up his hand - twice! - and vowed to protect - twice!!!

Mind you, this is the same turd who, when asked on Meet the Press asked......"don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?”

And he replied: “I don’t know.”

Now let's be fair, I am totally surprised it has taken well into his second term to ban free speech.  Make no mistake - that is what it is. 

If he can banish three new organizations, he can banish them all. And then - poof - no free speech. 

But..........he is just an egomaniac, that once he sees yesterday's footage where there were zero microphones on him and no one hearing a fucking syllable he said. But lord, what fucking bliss. His lips moving and not one fucking sound. 

........I'm guessing he might rescind his little tirade. 

Though it's him. He could just as easily double down and hire his own media crew. Pravda II. 

To be honest, I am a bit surprised that CBS and FOX both landed on the side of not covering. Bari Weiss must be fuming and firing people right and left. 

This action doesn't work if it's for a day. It has to remain in place until he caves. Honestly, it can't be like a senior high school class walk out to protest something and they're back in the school the next day with nothing changed. 

For that, I do not hold out hopes. But for the moment, I'll take what I can get.

There are some words you just don't want to hear come out of a relative's mouth. 

I thought she was joking with whichever meme was sent, but she went on to try to tell me something about Kash Patel and not discriminating against FBI agents (or applicants?) and bestiality.

How does this even come up?  Like............ever? 

Is this on their annual performance reviews?  The FBI application?  Their background checks? 

And if it is on the application, are there check boxes to designate what kind of animal(s) with which you've had "relations"?

I get that this FBI is now competing for people who normally would be working the afternoon shift at Popeye's, but I think you would want agents who, I dunno, aren't violating laws in multiple states. But again, this is a BLOTUS FBI. Rules don't apply - as long as you ignore January 6th.

Do I care that Chris Gallant, a democrat running on Long Island, posed consensually years ago for some adult-like photos? 

I do not. 

Should I?  

A better question. 

I've made tons of fun of Melanoma showing her beaver to the world in her nudes.  ......though Gallant isn't nude. And she wasn't running for anything. So it's a little hypocritical of me to say nothing here.

But - the GOP thinks she the classiest first lady ever and has never given her public guff for those images, so they seem - shock! - a lot of hypocritical of Gallant. 

And this is Long Island who brought the GOP George Santos - in drag. And his 1,097 lies.  .....that we know of. 

I'll give Gallant this, he's not backing down and addressing it head on. 

What I haven't heard him say is:  at least I didn't sexually traffic or rape underage girls, nor have I been accused of it - unlike a lot of other people in Washington that the DOJ is doing absolutely nothing about. 

Honestly, why not?  Draw a line in the sand. 

If they're bringing up "unsavory" things, then fuck:  fire back. Even if it's just calling others out for being complicit in covering up for sex offenders and rapists.

Kind of sucks to be Ed Sheeran right about now. 

....and I kind of don't care. 

One, I'm sure I've heard a song of his, but couldn't tell you what it was titled or could identify one if my life depended on it. He reaped what he sowed. 

Mind you - he's blaming the cancelling of Macklemore on the promoter, and while that might be true, had he stepped up the promoter and fucking sex trafficker wanna be, Robert Kraft, would have backed down. 

OR, Ed could have picked up his marbles and told Kraft to go fuck himself.   .....but he didn't. 

.....and then Sheeran's own band quit and all his opening acts did the same. 

Again, don't know his music, but him alone there with a guitar and a stadium full of people seems like an underwhelming performance. 

And all because Macklemore supports a free Palestine.

He did not say he supported Hamas. He did not say anything antisemitic - at least that I have heard. 

I truly don't get this and I've said it before.  You can be pro-Palestine and anti-Hamas.  You can be pro-Israel and anti-Netenyahu.  

Zionist / Zionism is also tossed around a lot. There are enough branches of that as their political parties in Israel. 

Zionism is political and ideological movement advocating for the self-determination and existence of a sovereign Jewish state in Israel. Some factions welcome and honor a two-state system. Some would like to take back all of the land. 

To lump Zionists into a single pot is exactly what just about everyone is doing with Palestine, Israel and Jews.  ....and you can't. People and beliefs don't fit neatly into one bucket. That's not how it works. And this is where the line gets very blurry on antisemitism. 

I believe both Israel and Palestine have a right to exist. And except for hundreds of years of being butt-hurt on both fronts, why they can't do it side by side. 

Yes, I'm a dreamer. 

What Palestine should be pissed about is that we, the US, funds Israel and their war effort. We have taken sides - if nothing else financially, which equals casualties.   ....and we are about to provide them 60,000 (!!!!) MORE 1-ton bombs. 

Without our funding and weapons, Palestine and Israel would almost have to get along. Neither would have the resources to actually fight. 

But anyway - Sheeran could have done something good with all of this. Instead, he said nothing at all, except to call Israel - Palestine a "conflict". 

Honey, a conflict is what your band had with you before they walked out. That he couldn't stand up to a promoter who would have lost everything if he said he won't go on, it would have been a blip in the news paper. 

The only great thing about it is - Kraft is back to being tied to Jeffrey Epstein in the news. Silver lining people........silver lining.

Well, I stand corrected on Moscow Mitch being dead..........

I don't even think it's an animatronic version of McConnell. The imagineers at Disney could have easily built something much more lifelike with smoother human movements than what we see here.

Do we think Mitch really had the ability to vote for anything??  Do we truly think he even has the cognitive ability to understand whatever the might might have been for?  I don't know if they press buttons for their votes or if they're verbal - but either way, he can't do it. I'm not quite sure a proxy can move the levers and such for him. 

The man has voted against paid time off and healthcare access. In theory (ha!) he should be ashamed to show his face at the Capitol. But the GOP doubles down on hypocrisy so I don't even know why I'm remotely surprised. 

Well, I hope whatever he has is painful with every breath and every movement. I hope he shits himself in that chair as often as BLOTUS does - and I love that one of his staffers has to clean it up.

Predictable

My lord - there is always a tweet. 

Always the telling, hypocritical tweet. 

First - I want to say, save for a reference in my 9/11 post and 12 of 12, I really haven't done a political post for over a month. 

That might be the upside to my accident and subsequent surgery. Silver lining, and all. I still feel I should be commended. 

I've only seen the headlines of BLOTUS' not so secret bribe to the American people. And I only 0% believe him. But the intent is there, even if the $5000 goods are not. 

Listen, I'm still waiting for my DOGE check and some other bullshit stimulus one too. I've based my entire retirement years on those two checks!   ........said just about everyone in Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama. 

But since the GOP is so adamant about fiscal responsibility, they'd be willing to add over a TRILLION dollars to an already increasing debt. 

Granted, headlines are just that, but I have yet to see one from any Republican saying 'we can't / shouldn't be doing that'. 

It doesn't really matter, as I assume beside it wouldn't be paid no matter what, but that there is fine print somewhere? 

What I saw was "if Republicans win", US adults would get 5k. 

It didn't say if the majority wins. Or if they keep the House and Senate. They said "if Republicans win".

I'm guessing a big fat fucking asterisk will show: if one state representative, who is republican, doesn't win their seat, there are no checks.  One dog catcher loses their race, you're not getting the check you weren't already getting anyways.  They now just have justification for it and then still keep the House and Senate due to a pseudo bribe. 

BLOTUS is saying paying for votes doesn't need congressional approval. And who knows - is that a thing, that rigged elections need congressional yays and nays? 

We are less than two months from the mid-terms and I have no inkling one way or the other that things are going for or against us. 

On an odd note, Ohio's Secretary of State mailed out our requests to do a mail-in vote. 

The odd thing?  Usually you have to request those and then they send them out. And what red state is unsolicitedly offering you to do mail in voting? HE is against mail-in voting. It all seems fishy. 

Don't get me wrong, we will get our absentee ballots, but we physically and personally drop them off. We don't put a stamp on them. I'm not trusting the postmaster general to help anyone out when it comes to democracy. 

Since polling is just down the street, I'm considering not doing mail in and just walking down and casting my ballot. Not that it is any less rigged. 

I'm so disillusioned, I just don't trust the system.

For the 10,839th time, I will say I really try to stay away from hard news. 

What is difficult is staying away from headlines. They are the ultimate clickbait should one be susceptible. ....and they show up everywhere, not just news sites. 

Me? I'm pretty good at not clicking, but I tend to get a fraction of the story a headline might portray. And I get a skewed one as well, as often the headlines can be misleading. 

As I was reading a sports story in the NYT (I know, right?) interspersed in any NYT article are links to other 'top stories' for which they want you to click. 

You can see by my title image which bullet point caught my eye.

This administration kills me - maybe quite literally one day. 

Going after voting records and Jews.  .....not necessarily in that order. 

When it comes to government agencies, I find the EEOC to be one of the good guys. For a long time they were my client and I had respect for them. Had. Past tense.

For more than a year, the EEOC had been pressing Penn to surrender records about antisemitism complaints and a list of “all clubs, groups, organizations and recreation groups” that were “related to the Jewish religion, faith, ancestry/national origin.” The government also demanded membership rosters of those groups, as well as a list of people who had worked in Penn’s Jewish Studies Program.

Again: W.T.A.F. 

On the surface, the EEOC looking into claims of antisemitism seems laudable. Perhaps going after Penn to do something about that behaviour. The demands for the rosters of Jewish organizations as opposed to, oh, right winged groups on campus, seem like they don't really want to solve the problem. They're saying the problems are: Jews. 

It is so thinly veiled the veil doesn't even exist. The threat. The meaning. The antisemitism. 

I know there is a doomsday clock that symbolizes the hypothetical destruction of humanity, and the clock measures our proximity to disaster based on human-made existential threats  These include Climate Change, Nuclear Escalation and Disruptive Technologies. 

Right now, the clock is at one minute and 25 seconds to midnight - meaning extinction at 00:00. 

That is without shit like this - though maybe another holocaust-like event is under 'nuclear escalation'. 

It's been a while since I've said it, but we are still on that road - a holocaust. Everything this administration does and says reeks of it. Again, they don't disguise it, but everyone is ok looking the other way - though to be the tiniest bit fair they get thrown a lot of distractions by this administration. 

What I do (and don't) get is BLOTUS' daughter and son-in-law. Clearly, they will continue to look the other way with his and his administration's antisemitism as long as they can make a buck from it. Or a billion. 

I also won't being to pretend to understand BLOTUS' infatuation with Israel and Netanyahu. The support. The money. The tripping over himself to kiss Ben's balls. ....when he so clearly hates Jews. 

....I guess umless there is something in it for him. He's only transactional - and usually only one way. He'll gladly stiff someone when it comes turn for the quid pro quo. 

What also has me stymied is the dropping of the subpoena. For all their faults, this administration doubles down on just about everything. I only fear is that they either already now have the info, or they have something else up their sleeve. 

Have I mentioned how much I hate this place and this administration?

History Never Repeats

I find Larry David to be somewhat antithetical. 

He's funny when it comes to stories. He's cringeworthy to watch act out those stories or just discuss things in general. 

There came a point in Seinfeld where I could just no longer watch. George - who clearly is modeled after David to a degree - just became so painful to watch on so many levels, my unease was not outweighed by the humour. 

Now and then, my brother-in-law will try to get me to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm. I think I tried once. If I wanted that type of nagging and talking over everyone, I'd go back to my parent's house for Sunday dinners. 

I think on paper the sketches are probably funny, but the execution isn't probably much of a stretch from who Larry David really is. 

Bud David has a new HBO show out called Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness.  Now that is a title that is dead-on accurate. David makes Lewis Black look like the world's biggest optimist. 

This show is historically based. Not reality based, but you get it. I've only seen two segments and I gotta say they're not bad. It kind of suits him. Not all are politically based. 

You may, or may not, have seen the below clip. All I can say is BLOTUS must be pissed. 

....and it is the last thing that Rob Reiner ever filmed. The piece was edited two days prior to his death. 

This might actually be the vehicle for Larry David. I could be wrong - I have been before.

This had to hurt. 

BLOTUS was forced to pay E. Jean Carroll the $5.6 million that was jury-awarded her back in 2023. 

An NYC jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing Carroll and defaming her.  

Luckily, Carroll gets interest on top of the awarded damages due to BLOTUS dragging his feet through appeal after appeal. Even his mostly hand-picked SCOTUS wouldn't take up the final appeal. 

The fat, cognitively impaired, fecally incontinent, pedophile "president" finally had to look between his seat cushions and pay up. 

Now, $5.6 million is pocket change to a grifter who has {allegedly} made $2 BILLION, so far, off this term in office alone. But you know he fucking did it begrudgingly. 

And all appeals are done. He is a officially a guilty sexual abuser. 

You know this guy just hated paying this woman. Well.......any woman. I mean, yeah, he had to pay Ivana and Marla. Well........and Melanoma and Stormy. And Ghislaine. 

Hmmm. On the other hand, maybe it's a pattern. 

I hope Carroll does something with the money - something that humiliates BLOTUS. You know he already probably has a DOJ investigation into her. Retribution is kind of his thing. 

Let that asshole seethe for a while knowing he can be beaten. You know that has to get his goat. 

He'd probably pay to fuck that too.

Not Sorry

Yes, I should stop looking at social media. I really really wish I were better at not. 

I keep seeing these "responses" that say something to the effect that we will give the same respect about Lindsey Graham's death that BLOTSU gave Robert Mueller. 

I don't disagree. I just don't see where any GOP person is asking anyone to be respectful in the first place. 

Granted, I haven't gone digging for any evidence of that either. I'm a moron. Not a fucking moron. 

Am I glad Graham is dead?  Yes.

Do I feel bad about "celebrating" someone's death?  No. Not in the slightest. At least his. I mean, there area. number of others: BLOTUS. Steven Miller. the Pillsbury ProudBoy (JD's new nickname). Bondi. Gnome.  The list goes on and on.  

.....and I won't feel bad about any single one of them. I might raise my hand. I might clap. I might laugh. 

While I love cake, the chances of me getting one to celebrate are slim - though there seems to be semi-sustainable short term business idea in that type of bakery. I'll have to see about drawing up a prospectus. 

Je do love former Capitol policeman Michael Fanon - everything about him. But his sign off on Graham was meh.  "Rest in Piss".  I get it, but I can also assume that Graham might actually like that. So it might not be the insult that was intended. 

At least two sex workers have expanded and expounded on earlier claims they've made since his death. They say the NDA they had signed is no longer enforceable. There doesn't seem to be much in their tales that haven't been told before, but my recall on the before isn't crystal clear - and save 'reg lingerie' and massages, I have yet to hear of any sex - not that I really want to. 

No one does. Not really. That is not a picture we want in our mind. 

Sounds like he died quickly and not nearly painfully enough. That is a shame. So here hopes he just fucking burns in hell. It's a shame I don't really believe in it, but should it exist............welcome Lindsey.

Dead Inside

For starters, this turd of a human being has been dead for weeks. 

You couldn't convince me otherwise.  I've seen Dave. 

Do not start me on 'braid dead'. How could you tell with this fucktard?  Especially in the last 18 months when he could barely walk or talk. He should have been forced from 'representing' months ago....if not longer. 

I don't get everyone's fascination with his wife going to China three days after his "hospitalization".

If the thought was she went there to dispose of the body, I get it. Me? I just think her mail-order status was revoked and she had to go back. 

Republicunts playing with death and election timelines is nothing new. Or just timelines period. They've done it at least twice in recent past with Supreme Court justices. Maybe even thrice. 

Allegedly, if they run out the clock until August 1st (or 3rd?) they can't have a special election. One where they might lose a seat. And that's before the midterms. 

They cannot risk that. They'd rather break federal law where the current DOJ will not do a thing other than to look away. 

Where is the right-doing EVS worker at the hospital who breaks HIPAA and says the man is dead or brain dead?   Oh noooooo......he'll never get another job in a hospital mopping floors!  But he'll have done a great service to the country. 

Let me know what hospital Moscow Mitch's corpses is in. Maybe I'll apply for a job and become a whistleblower.

Tables Turned

When you don't want to talk about mental health for a day, or weather.......it's not a music or pet day, you're kind of left with politics. 

I really have stayed away from the trashy State Fair shit, the Reflecting Cess Pool, Supreme Court and Mitch McConnell may or may not have resigned due to health - though I'm assuming he died days ago and they were just setting up a succession plan before they let that cat out of the bag. 

But social media is social media and it's hard to completely avoid. As much as I'd like to, I don't. I fully admit it. 

Granted, I know little about Thomas Massie other than he lost his GOP primary after going against Mike Johnson and BLOTUS. And then he read some of the names from the Epstein files on the floor of the House. He's a little rogue, but not really. 

I think vowed to read them all and I am pretty sure he has not. 

Then there was this clip where he turns the tables on a Fox "reporter". ....and I love it. 

I mean, Massie is GOP, so he probably had an affair and had them sign an NDA, and yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he boned Boebert. I wouldn't be surprised if every male in the GOP has had a turn with her. Just like all the guys in her GED class. 

I'm not sure I am ok with Massie using 'gay porn' as a shamer, but I get it. And I totally think the Fox reporter doesn't get the irony in what Massie is doing or the reporter's own fleeing actions. 

Still it's worth one minute and 21 seconds of your time. 

I will be extremely disappointed to find out this was all faked. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I swear it has felt longer than like six days since I've a post with any political bent, but I went back and checked. Yep - six. 

This came up over the weekend.

While I try to limit my social media time, sometimes I fail miserably. Like on Sunday. 

No electricity. No tv. Too dark to read a book. So I scrolled. 

Ugh. I feel dirty afterwards, but I ended up going to bed even earlier than usual. 

But this NPR thing came up - and while we can all hope for the big dirt nap for this guy, the story is meaningless to me. Evil will still go on without this turtle of a man. 

What caught my eye was the top comment. 

I think I literally laughed out loud. 

Then I did a screen shot and sent it my peeps group chat and to my family chat. 

THEN I went to bed.
