My Music Monday

I guess I'll stick with new music. 

Mainly because I'm enjoying "I Can Take the Sun Out of the Sky" by Bridgitte Calls Me Baby. 

I saw a news clip headline that said, the band doesn't mind if you think they sound like the Smiths. 

.....except, I don't know that they do. I haven't really delved into their other material yet, so perhaps other selections sound more Marr / Morrissey. While this track has an 80's like vibe to it, overall, this selection more like the Strokes. Personally, I think the Strokes sound too similar in what they do and they don't draw me in - "I Can Take the Sun...." did. 

It won't wind up on any of my top 10 lists of anything, but I don't turn it off in the car, and that says a lot.
