Actually, I'm about 100,000 past the 11 mil mark as of yesterday.
Clearly, I wasn't paying attention.
I hate to blame everything on my physical state, but suffice to say, I've been distracted lately. And I don't live or die by number of views that may or may not come my way.
It's not like I've changed up my style or number of posts or anything. Just Blobby being Blobby.
That is a bump of one million in a little over four months. Not too shabby, should I say so myself. Again, it took 20+ years to hit 1 million.
I won't / can't even venture to guess what brings people here initially.
Sure sure - they stay for the wit, the creative writing, the typos and the dog and cat pics.
The eye roll emoji is implied............except for the 'typo' portion.
I think in the last year or two, I have been accumulating about one million additional views every four months. I'm not sure how "the algorithm' works or anything, but be it actual hits or bots, traffic is traffic.
It's king of like - all news is good news. ........though that is hardly the case. Though certain propaganda machines might say something else.
In the big scheme of things, 11 million views means nothing. There are no medals, no honors, nor do I get to say in public "don't you know who I am???" to the inattentive cashier at the Buy N Bag.
I mean, I DO say it, but it just falls flat.
Maybe I'll just hold off on another one of these posts until (or if) I had 20 million. In theory, that should be in 36 months.
