Cold

Winter time pet pics. Only Shep's are winter-themed.  It's been a pretty freezing week. Sophie is safely and warmly ensconced inside.

The late afternoon Winter light really plays well with his colouring.

Shep's daycare days let's playful Sophie come out - along with every toy.

Polo fields - with a 50' lead for running.  He loves it.
I'd love to let him off leash, but I fear that'd be the last we see of him.

Making herself comfy on the sofa.

Same sofa. Different animal.

I know I'm biased, but she really is a pretty girl.

Frigid time at the lake.
My one ungloved hand for that 2 minutes was freezing.

Shep is to be envied, with his capacity for tolerating suffering in the cold, if indeed he notices it at all. Much rather be Sophie-like, sensibly cuddled up in enveloped warmth.

I like the one with Shep on the 50’ lead and snuggled into the couch. This might be a good time of year to let him free for starters , inside a fenced tennis court with a ball. Sophie does have a mystical gaze from those gorgeous eyes.

A dog running is a beautiful thing.

sophie is smart and stays warm.
but seeing shep run "free" gladdens my heart.
hope you didn't get frostbite out there.

Seeing Sophie is the perfect way to start the weekend. Much better than the cat photo on Dr. Spo's blog.
