If

At first - and for a while - I wasn't sure about how I felt regarding Trevor Noah. I mean, Jon Stewart is a hard act to beat. I'm not sure anyone could have come in an taken his place well. Not even Craig Kilborn.

That was a joke.

But Noah has come into his own on that show and made something slightly different. Never more than these last few weeks. Maybe months.

His coronavirus broadcasts from home have been good, and well, now that Arsenio Hall doesn't have a talk show, there is no one on late night who is a person of colour. Sure, the Jimmy Fallons (ugh) of the world can talk about the events going on around us when it comes to race, but honestly, they can only speak from the white privilege perspective.

Let me rephrase - they should probably only speak about it from that perspective.

Noah can actually bring something to the table that they cannot.

He had a brilliant piece following the death of George Floyd and now again with the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks.

Take the eight minutes.
