We spent most of yesterday with extended family - though more on that in another post - so we get a two-fer this week.....or family for two days in a row.
I'm never a fan of the forced 'thank-yous' that sometimes go around the table. I'm sure I'm thankful for things, but it all seems so insincere when you're put on the spot. It's like the worst work-retreat ice-breaker ever.
The 2017 news has been nothing but one downer after another, so it's hard to think there has been much to be thankful for, though right now Bill Cosby has got to feel all the heat taken off him, so he's feelin' good.
Still - I've got great friends, a good job, a good home and a loving husband........and a Sophie and a Shep, so life is pretty good. .....and you guys seem to tolerate me, so that ain't nothing.
But I hope you all enjoy the day and the weekend.
