Everybody Loves a Happy Ending

It arrived!  It arrived!!!

....and someone couldn't be happier. Sophie is one happy kitty.

Her newly acquired string is not exactly 100% like the one she lost, but it's pretty damned close. Way closer than that shit we bought over the weekend.

The string itself is colourful like the last, but not the same pattern, but I don't think she cares. The lucite handle is about 3-4" shorter than the last, but I'm sure we'll figure out how to handle it and make it move for her.

As soon it was out of the package, she grabbed it and ran to the other room with it.  I figure it would keep her occupied while I went and changed into fuzzy bear pants. Only a minute later I hear her dragging it up the stairs.

She is taking it everywhere she goes - and I know it's the right style, as she hasn't touched the other two we got her.  Of course, we'll have to take it away at night, or she will drag it through the bed room and across the hardwood floors.

And as you can see, in the above image, Soph is very vocal about playing and engaging me to play with her.  I'm a sucker and can't say no. Why should she ever be denied?  ....I mean, except at night when I'm trying to sleep.

But yeah, she's seems very very happy to have it back.  And chatty, as you can see in the video.

Oh, and this is post # 2500.  YIKES.

She knows it's different, but she's just playing along so you don't get upset. She likes to keeps her pets happy.

I can't see the video on my iPad, but I will HAVE to see it when I get on my computer. The picture alone is precious. It's easy to see who's in charge.

You could have just bought her the 4th Doctor's scarf. She'd like that too.

And happy 2500!
