Still one of the most consistent bands around - and considering New Order has been doing it since the demise of Joy Division, that's saying something. We're looking at 30+ years.
They have a lot of good music, some of it remixed and re-recorded and some of those versions work better than others, for sure.
While if I were just doing a song to represent them, it becomes more difficult - as I love so much of what they do/did - even this far into it. Since I am also attaching a video as said representation, it became easier.
Not surprisingly, I went with "Bizarre Love Triangle". It is a good song and I do like the Robert Longo video, though you might skip most of it if you're prone to epileptic seizures. However, part of the video I like so much isn't really part of the song at all.
I love the part starting at the 2:37 mark. I used the dialogue on my answering machine way back in 1988 or so, for the longest time.
Sorry I couldn't find an "official" video - I blame Warner Bros. for holding out on YouTube for payment stuff. So you have to see some taping of it from VH1 - and I don't even think they play videos anymore.
