Shopping with Blobby

Yet another installment in the drudgery that is everyday shopping. The camera-phone makes it a bit more fun - though I get looks whenever I take pics of products. Like I care what people think!

Is it just me, or does this seem an odd way to try to get people to buy any food: conventional.
  • Indicates the usual method of production. Used in contrast to green or environmentally-friendly production methods.
  • Refers to standard agricultural practices widespread in the industry. Can include use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, "mono-cropping," antibiotics, hormones and other agribusiness approaches. Conventional farming in the US may also include the use of Genetically Modified Organisms.
Mmmmmm...mmmmmm.....good.

Back in my day, we just called them 'apples'.

Maybe that's what the stores should just call them.

I'd ask for Non-Conventional apples to see what it gets you.
