My Music Monday

Over the last few years, I've heard plenty about Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. I kept hearing of their 'genius' and I tried to make a connection, but it just wasn't there.  They were fine and talented, but it just wasn't hitting the mark for me. 

But they have a new album out - or coming out. And on XM, I did hear a new song "Death Wish". 

I've only heard it a few times, but I'm liking it. The song moves along nicely in terms of music. The lyrics I guess are somewhat dark. Or maybe it is just my current mood. 

I will not say it is making me want to go purchase an entire disk, but you just never know. I'll try sampling more of the new disk.
