As it turns out, I'm not sure they're even manufactured......yet at least. As it is a BLOTUS product, the chances of it ever coming to fruition are slim and the chance of getting a refund are nil. 

Of course they are tacky as hell. I'm guessing this is what is happening to all the unsold Kanye West Adidas shoes that they can't unload. 

The "joke" is, the rich folks who do support him won't buy them and wouldn't be caught dead in them.  His true base can't afford them, but somehow will still get them. 

The biggest users of social programs that the GOP wants to cut and defund are the red states. I do love how they have manipulated their own base against the voter's best interest.

I don't think one could even wear these ironically. 

The problem is, they'll sell.  When I was doing yoga, every Saturday morning Foot Locker - or something like them - had a line waiting to get in the store for whatever new collectible shoe was being released that week. Teens would come out with 2-3 of them at $200 a pop. I could never quite figure it out. 

An old college friend told me her son did that and would do resell on eBay and made tons of money. He was 14 at the time. 

It should be easy to pick out the enemy.  Yes. I debated for like 12 seconds whether to use that word or not, but that's what it is. What they are. The ones who hate Antifa, which they don't understand that it is anti-fascist. Or maybe they just ARE fascists, 

It's all very depressing. 

Allegedly, the shoes are supposed to be swaying the Black vote to BLOTUS.  Really? Is that all it takes? If so, that is even more depressing - should it work.

You either have the source, or you don't.  You either have the facts, or you don't. Should they exist at all, you should have someone on your staff explain it to you like you're five, so you can explain it to me like I'm three.  

But if it is not your area of expertise (and clearly it is not), perhaps you shouldn't be talking out of your butthole.

We can talk about all the ways Michelle Pence was stupid while he was at the Mayo Clinic. I think we should focus on his comment about not wearing a mask so he could look the hospital workers  "right in the eye".

Actually, that's not the stupid I want to talk about associated with Ms. Pence.  It's about the unavailability of testing.  .....and by the way, it's your fault, not his.

When asked by a reporter why it took so long to get tests out (you know the beautiful ones!). The reported mentioned that Pence said the country would have 4 million tests by mid-March.

It didn't.

We didn't.

Pence's response?  "It represents a misunderstanding on your part and frankly the — a lot of people in the public's part — about the difference between having a test versus the ability to actually process the test."

So, true to this administration, not their fault. It's yours.

YOU misunderstood.  He did not say he wasn't clear.

I dunno about you, but that doesn't seem very Christian of him.

I don't even know what to do with this anti-vax shit that is really now hitting the fan.

While I'm a prick, I'm not a complete one.  I feel bad for the kids who get sick, who are hospitalized and who die.

Their parents?   Not so much.

It might be rude, but I'd be ok with these asshole parents mourning their kids death the rest of their lives, knowing it was because of them - though I doubt they'd ever agree it was anything THEY had (or hadn't) done.

I'm more than ok with them going into debt by hundreds of thousands of dollars for their kids' hospitalization.

Of course, the real victims are the kids who are too young to be vaccinated. They are susceptible to the anti-vax crowd.

I don't get the shutting down of some universities due to measles outbreaks.  First, they're adults at that point in their life. If they haven't been vaccinated, tough shit. Let them get the measles. You can no longer blame your parents for that one. If you're old enough to get into a place of higher education, you're old enough to make a choice.  Your options are now, getting a shot or possibly getting the measles.  Maybe colleges should only accept those who have vaccination records.

The continued absence of reason when it comes to science is totally lost on me. I shouldn't be surprised - yet I continually am.

Well - wait. I might have answered my own question.

Yes there are. Many. Those who continue to support him after he says stupid ass shit like his "They say windmills might cause cancer" remark.  And the people who work for him who have to defend the stupid shit he says.

To their credit though - they ARE stupid, so they don't know he is also. Hell, they don't know they're stupid. That's one take.

Seriously though - why does the media just not call him what he is: a liar!?!

Naturally, if they did, he'd sue. And Fuckabee Sanders would point out he said "might", which is his ever helpful loophole.  Kind of like Bob when he uses "allegedly" in some of his posts.   <i>smileyface</i>.

BLOTUS also says that home values decrease by 75% when they are near windmills (read: turbines). Yeah?  Yeah???   Prove it.  I'm a number guy.  I want to see the data. All of it.

Oh wait - he's not one for "facts", let alone releasing data, so it will be a harder time to prove......naturally. But sure, let's take him at his word.

I don't flaunt (would that be the right word?) my cancer survivorship ever - but this kind of false information is just fucked up. But hell if are now not a nation of science deniers.
