Where Are They All Going?

Maybe it's just a big game of Tic-Tac-Toe or someting. Except for the reflecton of the overhead office light - I liked the picture.

Work has been brutal....in a good kind of way. But I've had no time to draft any entries per se. I need to. I want to. I just haven't gotten around to it. I'll get back on track. I promise.

There is lots of jet traffic over where we live on the East coast. Most of it goes to Europe. After 9/11 when air traffic was shut down it was so spooky to go out at night and see nothing up there at all. No little blinking lights, no con trails, nothing. Just stars and dark and quiet and night. Peaceful. I'll never forget it.

Sue, you just brought back a similar memory for me. It was the Friday after 9/11. A group of us were at happy hour, outside on a patio (beer in hand, natch), and we saw a plane go overhead for the first time in days. Each time one would fly over, everyone would look up and stare at it. So odd.
