50 questions in 10 minutes. The math would be: 12 seconds to read the question, type the answer and hit 'submit'. The cursor didn't automatically go back to the answer box so you had to make sure you did that as you were trying to read the next question. On the plus side you did not have to answer in the form of a question, nor did you have to have exact spelling.
Anyhoo...though they didn't give a score at the end, overall I did better than average or at least I think I did. I just couldn't get the answer for the Sanskrit category. Swear to g-d, I'm not making that up. I froze on a question regarding a peninsula in Mexico (after time ran out, of course Yucatan came to me!). The site will calculate scores based on how many people took the trial and then select people for real-live try-outs.
I really don't expect to even get that far, let alone to the show. And if I did, all I'd have in my head are two things:
- The SNL skit(s) and Sean Connery asking for a clue in THE RAPISTS category
- Me getting on TV and freezing like Cindy Brady
