September, October and the first five days of November has been nothing short of glorious. Weather wise that is.
So many days of zero clouds, low humidity and warm temps.
But things must come to an end and I believe that was yesterday as rain came and stayed. And temps went and stayed in the 40s. Allegedly into the 30s today. But really hovering in the mid-40s to low 50s rest of the week.
Winds brought down a ton of leaves, though 20% still remain on the trees. I should be happy for that, but I know I'm battling time and our city's leave collection schedule Now I just want them to drop.
Fall brings some Shep outdoor pics, where he is heavily an "autumn". And rightfully so.
Here he waits for trick or treaters. Growls were made.
I got a frowning of a lifetime.
Yesterday, I picked Shep up for the first time since mid-August. Technically, I'm not allowed to do that. 710 was not pleased. But we had dinner plans and he's never home from work timely, so I took one thing of his 'to do' list. .....and then I took Shep for a walk. Again, bad me.
We went to my sister's house, where I was "attacked" by Bailey.
Paying the Cheese Tax.
Boop!
KEY-ute! Then I remembered this guy was the one from earlier this year that bit me. Accidently.
It did not happen again.
Looking proud.
My nephew was home, but whomever is checking in on the cats finds them hiding.
Apparently, they're not one for newcomers. Henry is under the bed. Virginia on top of cabinets.
The last look at the leaves.
