Elections.
Say whatever you want about the GOP, but they're savvy.
Evil - yes. Corrupt - hell yes. Rapists - sure, but the dems have those too. Smart - yes, though I loathe to admit it.
But the image you see is precisely why they are savvy and why / how they win so often.
The GOP bets on you not reading the fine print. The GOP knows the voting public have the memories of a goldfish and the attention span of a gnat.
Items they voted for or promised are in place for them to get your vote - and on the surface they've done some of these things.
It's just that there is a big fat asterisk attached to them.
They don't want to seem evil for the mid-terms, so they've thwarted some of the blow to make them look like the "good guys".
Again, it's about the fine print.
Remember that when you vote today.
