Back Home

As you'd imagine, the pickings were kind of slim this week, being I haven't been home to take a picture. And I have not taken one. Not of a dog.

On my last day in the hospital I realized no one offered me therapy dogs.  W.T.F.?

But it's a decent showing here if I say so myself.

710 picking up the Dude while I lay around a hospital.

Chef Bob wanted to bring over Olive to see me, and as much as I'd love it, I couldn't handle that kind of visit.

My nephew sent me pics of Henry and Virginia to help me recover.
These three are bonded. It's great to see.

The reunion.

Shep was excited to see me when I got home Friday night (yes, I went home sans cath), but immediately pulled away. The equipment. The strange smells The movements.

He slept next to my side of the bed all night and given the chance to see me the next morning he did come up on the bed and lay next to me for three hours. He's barely left the bedroom since I've been home, but is keeping his distance.
