What's to write about?
I'm not in the mood to discuss BLOTUS militarizing DC.
We are in the last throes of Hurricane Erin. We saw no bad stuff, but the surf is rough. Red flags everywhere. Allegedly our beach had 50 rescues the week before due to rip currents.
Save going in knee deep after a rum and splashing myself with the Atlantic, I haven't been in. Yesterday it seemed much calmer, but I was lazy and read all day. Well, we did do a five mile walk.
Mondays are generally my 'rest' day from running. One of them. I needed it too. So, I got up late, ate my gruel and read. I'll start book #2 today.
Sunday it was ok to run a little later than I normally do. The temps have gone up up up, so I suspect I will be running before the sun fully rises tomorrow. It'll be a quick 6-8 miles. Or is the plan in my head.
Allegedly we'll be able to see a rocket launch tonight (last night now), but it's getting foggy, so I suspect we will see nothing, which is a shame.
Ok. That's it. Almost time for bed.
