I haven't really looked into it, but this might be the last three-peat in my life time - date wise, that is. Not that I really care. I didn't care about the 1-11s either.
I'm bored out here in California. Granted, the 70 degree weather is nicer than the 30 in Ohio, but I miss my family - the man, the dog, the cat. I miss my own bed. I'm tired of the red-eye. ...and to add insult to injury, it looks like I might be 873 miles short of Platinum status.
Maybe I can switch flights and fly through Newark (again), but I'm not sure that will get me those 873.
I have almost no intention of coming back to Cali next week . Unless my client or boss says "absolutely", Platinum status isn't worth it.
Still, I think for all my travels and all my trouble, there should be pay off in terms of that 873.
