Reading about it is tough. I think I can navigate space news from other news, but it's risky. Anything where Space X and US government are involved drags me down.
And I'm going to say something very unpopular: I wish the mission had failed.
I mean, not explosions and death. I'm a dick - not a monster.
I just don't want any space exploration succeeding with BLOTUS in charge or Musk near anything. I'd have been happier if China, Japan, India or France had gotten there first.
710's niece sent me the title image. I'm sure it's out on social media, but I've been trying to avoid that too.
For a while it has been pretty standard that even though "his" name isn't mentioned in some kind of meme or story that everyone knows of whom you speak. Still - it's good not to hear said name.
Yesterday, someone at work showed me an image from Artemis II. It was a cool shot - not that I can find it. And it was said - though I am skeptical - that it was taken with an iPhone.
While looking for that image, did come across others.
Still very cool. The moon these days seems more hospitable than its neighboring planet.
