More Brokeback Crap
A Texas newsman raised some eyebrows — and some hackles — with some off-color jokes about “Brokeback Mountain” stars Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal.
While discussing movie awards, KENS-TV anchorman Chris Marrou of San Antonio quipped “Why didn’t they just give one of those guys from ‘Brokeback Mountain’ best actress?”
Executive News Director Kurt Davis called the comment “unscripted” and apologized “for whatever statement that may have offended any segment of our audience,” according to MySanAntonio.com
