OHIO GOVERNOR PROBABLY HITS NAIL ON HEAD (and doesn't know it)
A soft groan ran through a breakfast crowd of Ohio delegates when Gov. Bob Taft said, "Ohio will be the Florida of 2004." His aides explained that the governor was referring to Florida putting the president over the top in Electoral College votes - not to the long battle over ballots that left the election's results in doubt for weeks. "We're talking until just before the recount," said chief of staff Jon Allison, "not for the six months afterward." (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
