My Music Monday

There are quite a number of decent to good new(ish) songs out. It is getting hard to narrow some stuff down. 

I have started second guessing my choice based on what I thought my readers might like. Let's be honest, I don't know what you all like. 

One was much more of a punk song, and I'm guessing that is less up your alley. 

I opted for Craig Finn. He's had a number of solo albums out, his newest which was this past Friday. 

Finn is more of a storyteller than a songwriter (IMO), but he does both. As with all artists, some are better than others. I haven't gone all the way through his new disk yet, but stopped on today's selection, "Luke & Leanna".

Some of Finn's stuff is borderline dark(er), which I enjoy. "Luke & Leanna" has that element somewhat, but the music makes it seem less so. 

I like the tempo, which is different for him, but enjoyable nonetheless.
