Here was a revelation: while at a concert of Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin and Dar Williams I was looking around and noticed everyone seemed so old! Well, old for a concert that wasn't Steve & Edie. It turns out, I'm around the same age as the people (give or take 10 yrs) that were in attendance. I says to Denton, I says - "is this us?". He confirmed it was. You know - I just don't feel as old as they look.
