I love it!

As for Obama, I'm still there....hoping, wishing, dreaming. He started with a huge mess and I don't really think it's gotten too much better. But I don't think that two years is nearly enough time considering what he was handed by the Red Group. Now, if only we could go back and bank all of those millions/billions that Clinton left with this nation.......A Lewishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05066992019067893513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185139.post-42292352703471353612010-11-01T10:05:07.995-04:002010-11-01T10:05:07.995-04:00Well said.Well said.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5185139.post-70853547330673209262010-11-01T09:46:07.741-04:002010-11-01T09:46:07.741-04:00Great post Blobby. Well done.

I'd like to echo Sean's comment, and also add that I'm not aware of any gay blogger who has turned anti-Obama. That would be insane, even for us fickle homos.

Pressing him and his administration to work on gay civil rights issues does not mean we're anti-Obama, nor does it mean we are single-issue voters. It just means gay rights are important to us and we want the President to recognize that.

Greg and I are voting tomorrow. Wednesday and Thursday will be the media's analysis, then on Friday the 2012 Presidential campaigns commence! Yay!!! It's not an either or situation. But the bottom line is, we can't hand our country over to the people that have systematically been destroying it up until now and blocked every attempt to repair it because of a political snit, disregarding the needs of the people they serve. GLBT equality is not less important, it is equally important, but not having it yet is not a reason to turn our backs on the closest thing we have to an ally, no matter how weak, and hand power over to the "enemy" that will ensure health care, housing, education, retirement and equality for all never happens.Breenlanternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17317914861018120156noreply@blogger.com
