I've always found it curious that just about ALL the wax figures I've seen in my life look ever so slightly [but only facially] 'off' from the figure we've seen on our tellies, and it's something which, I exasperatingly feel, could be corrected by just a small tweak of its visage. I've been to Madame Tussaud's in London twice - though the last time was nearly 40 years ago - and it was how I felt about all the well-known faces which were then featured - politicians, royals and celebrities. But the 'POTUS 45' figure above looks to me to be closer to a grumpy late Ted Kennedy than the yet still alive thing to whom I too would also like to deliver a punch in his smug mug.
A bad replica of Someone from the WWF, the former guy is a caricature in real life and a dummy. What could anyone expect from a Statue. When all this was transpiring , All I could think of was Steel Magnolias and Claree, saying “Hit her Hit her again Malynn, Knock her lights out” Speaking of Ouiser Boudreaux!

I might pay extra for that added attraction
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the answer was "Austin", but the museum is in San Antonio. It just goes to show that we have more in common than we think.
ReplyDeletewhile I cannot condone this - I would be outraged if it were someone else - I have to confess it made me smile to know this.
