When I Get Home

Since we were in NYC last week - well, for 4.5 days - we had to board Shep, which just about broke our hearts. It's quite weird how attached we are to him.  But that's the backstory to this weeks set of pictures.


Shep rejoining the family after his stay in the kennel. 

It was his first time away from us since October. ...and it's the longest time we've been separated too. He was tres excited. 

The ride home. 

I love how he usually looks happy....like he's almost smiling. 

.....and then the inevitable crash.  This time in a chair that is new of his choosing. 

Sophie is glad to have us home too.  She has been VERY attentive.

    I think its hilarious how they're so excited to see us, then crash once they're home. You boys got a good one in Shep. :-)
